Boxers make fun-loving and affectionate family pets. While they’re great with children, they may not be a good fit with other dogs. Boxers range from 21-25 inches and 65-80 pounds. Female Boxers tend to be much smaller than males. Their life expectancy is 10-12 years.
Boxers’ short, shiny coat requires very little grooming, and they are low-shedding dogs. Boxers can be either brindle or fawn.
Boxers are playful, high energy dogs, and they require proper training as puppies to avoid jumping and running away. They need ample exercise daily to keep them physically and mentally healthy. Due to their intelligence, Boxers excel in canine sports such as agility and make great service dogs and working dogs.
